Please join me in congratulating and welcoming Dr. Jennifer Kline on being appointed as the Principal of New London Academy. Dr. Kline is an experienced and committed educator with over 25 years of service in education, with a proven record of leadership, innovation, and student-focused success. She began her educational journey and training at the elementary level, and has experience working with students and staff from preschool through high school. She has a passion for helping students and developing strong partnerships with staff. Originally from Ohio (2000-2019), She has worked in a variety of roles as an intervention specialist, elementary school counselor, testing coordinator, pupil services administrator, and most recently as an assistant principal with BCPS at Jefferson Forest High School (2019-2023) and Liberty High School (2023-2025).
Dr. Kline holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Liberty University, a Master’s Degree in Education with a Specialty in School Counseling, and a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education (1-8) and special education (K-12). She is known for her collaborative leadership style, positive high energy, and unwavering advocacy for students and staff in promoting safe, supportive, and high-achieving learning environments for all learners. She has a proven track record of fostering collaboration among educators, students, and families and is known for her strong work ethic, high standards, positive attitude, and deep commitment to student success.
